Important Announcement: Changes for Volume 10 (2026) of Engagement: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat

To all Authors, Peer Reviewers, Readers, and Relevant Parties,

In order to enhance the dissemination of research findings and contributions to society, as well as align with international standards, Engagement: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat announces two fundamental changes that will take effect starting with Volume 10 in 2026.

The details of these changes are as follows:

1. CHANGE IN PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

• Before: Published biannually (semi-annually) in May and November.
• Starting 2026: Published quarterly in February, May, August, and November.

With this increase in frequency, we aim to accelerate the publication process, ensuring that findings and innovations in community service are more efficiently accessible to a broader audience.

1. CHANGE IN CITATION STYLE

• Before: Using Turabian 8th Edition (Full Note with No Ibid).
• Starting 2026: Transitioning to American Psychological Association (APA) Style.

This change is implemented to align with a more commonly used citation style in the social sciences and education, making the writing and manuscript adjustment process easier for authors. Any manuscript submitted after January 1, 2026, must adhere to the APA Style guidelines.

Implications for Authors:
Manuscripts currently under review and expected to be published in 2026 are strongly encouraged to promptly adjust to the new rules.

The updated Author Guidelines, adopting the APA Style, will soon be uploaded to the journal’s website. Please refer to these guidelines for future manuscript preparation.

We believe these changes are a strategic step to continuously improve the quality, accessibility, and impact of Engagement: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat.
